Burlington Ontario Real Estate – time of use electricity metering comes to Burlington Ontario

Time of use metering is here in Burlington Ontario! Check your hydro bill, it will tell you the exact date the changeover will take effect for you. For my home, here in Headon Forest area, it takes effect tomorrow.
What does it mean?? Well, to keep the bill reasonable, they are encouraging use at “off peak” times. So, not running the air conditioner during the daytime, doing laundry in the evenings or on weekends.
