A sure sign of summer, here in Burlington ON, is the annual Sound of Music Festival.

It is held at Spenser Smith Park – right on the shore of beautiful Lake Ontario.  Held for 4 days – June 17 to 20th, it is FREE and offers music for everyone.

There will be a free music workshop for children aged 6 to 12, visit the website to register.

Some  past performers include Tom Cochrane, The Stills, USS, Divine Brown, Matt Dusk, Robert Michaels, Cowboy Junkies, Ronnie Hawkins, Natalie MacMaster, Glass Tiger, Trooper, Leahy, Michael Burgess, Serena Ryder, Jim Cuddy Band, Finger Eleven, Molly Johnson, David Wilcox, 54-40, Kim Mitchell, Valdy, The Philosopher Kings, Tomi Swick, Kim Stockwood, The Good Brothers, Marc Jordan, Sloan, Tom Wilson, Murray McLauchlan, Spirit of the West, and The Trews, just to name a few.
